Graduating from College is an obvious opportunity to take your first steps towards your dream career. However, many people post-graduation have little or no idea what they actually want to do. Whether it is planning your next steps, work, study, time out or figuring out your next career move, Clíona has worked with a vast and diverse range of students, graduates, PhDs and postdocs as Careers Consultant in Trinity College Dublin for over 10 years. She has created and delivered bespoke workshops on Career Planning, pioneered and lectured accredited Career Development modules, and has deep experience of one-to-one career counselling with students, graduates, PhDs and post-docs.
During one-to-one Graduate coaching we define your career priorities and examine your unique set of values, interests, skills and your purpose. Relevant psychological barriers are discussed and practical next steps are designed to create a career of meaning and purpose. Psychometric assessments are just one element of this offering. Each graduate session is always tailored to an individual’s unique needs.
“I came to Clíona with a broad base of experience in differing roles since graduating from university. I was unsure about my next steps. Clíona couldn't have been more helpful and constructive in terms of career planning and later with the creation of a very targeted CV. She was so knowledgeable of possibilities I could pursue with my Engineering degree. She had several directional tools with a method of matching my strengths and abilities to possible roles. As I had no idea what I wanted to do, Clíona helped me to decipher which avenue to pursue based on a one to one lengthy career planning session I had with her. I followed up with Clíona for a further session to co-create a targeted CV. Clíona was so helpful and knowledgeable and I couldn't recommend her more for careers advice and CV preparation.”
